Description
I'm probably going to start working on Dius Ultio this summer, as such, I needed a finalized version of Rook's character design, and this is it. I'm proud of this little doodle because it's a sucessful use of what little I know of figure drawing. There's actually gravity in this one, for the win.
Also, this probably isn't the style I'll be drawing Rook in the comic. I wanted to do something kind of cartoonish in this picture, but then maybe I will end up using it. It's really expressive.
Critique would be much appreciated! I am aware that his left arm is kind of out of it, but besides that I'm happy with this one and want to know where I can improve on it.

I like this His boots kick ass and his expression is win.
Maybe when you do the shading on things like clothes, the colors could get blended better. Like, set the brush to 10% opacity and do a big area, then work inwards while shrinking the area you're coloring... if that makes any sense
